Phew… the screencasting session is over. Leading an unconference session can be tricky… I got off to a shaky start because I misjudged the audience a bit. I had hoped to skip over most of the intro “what is a screencast” stuff, and concentrate on techniques for making screencasts for smaller devices, but there was a very diverse audience so I had to backtrack to the basics. Luckily 45 min was enough time to cover all the bases, and I think it ended well.
Everyone loved it (of course it’s easier to say that when you’re giving away a $300 software package at the end of the session).
